The brief set by the client was to obtain planning consent for 2 residential plots outside the development boundary of Covenham St Mary. The application was previously refused on sustainability grounds
The second planning application was presented to Planning Committee with a recommendation for refusal by Planning Officers based on Covenham St Mary not being a sustainable location
The planning application was overturned at Planning Committee and planning consent granted based on the need to sustain villages as fully endorsed under Paragraph 55 of the National Planning Policy Framework, March 2012
